2024 Annual Show

The 500 Earth Sciences Club hosts an annual gem, mineral and fossil show the weekend after Labor Day each year. Admission and parking are free. Three buildings at the Hancock County Fairgrounds in Greenfield are filled with over fifty vendors. They offer a dazzling array of minerals, fossils, rocks, jewelry and other items for purchase. Beads and jewelry making supplies and lapidary supplies are for sale. A food vendor is also on site.

Proceeds from the show are used for scholarships and other beneficial awards to local universities,  museums and youth organizations studying the earth sciences. The show is sponsored by the Hancock County Tourism and Visitor Center.

The next show will be held at the Hancock County Fairgrounds September 6-8, 2024.
