Held the weekend after Labor Day, every year since the club started running it. Four buildings of dealers, demonstrations all weekend, and a geologist on site who will tell you what that thing in your pocket actually is.

Proceeds fund scholarships and awards for local universities, museums and youth organizations studying the earth sciences.
What is inside
Minerals, fossils, rough and cut stone, finished jewelry, beads, and lapidary supplies. Bring a box.
Working demonstrations all weekend, member display cases, silent auctions and raffles. A geologist is on site to identify specimens you bring in.
Runs the whole weekend in the Sheep Barn, staffed by club volunteers. Every child leaves with something. Food is available on site.
Dealers
Space is allocated from a waiting list
The show fills every year. Returning dealers are contacted directly each spring, and remaining space is offered from the waiting list — so we do not publish booth sizes or rates, and we cannot hold a space against a payment.
To be considered, tell us what you sell. Contracts are handled by John Corbett and Lindsay Schneider, who will be in touch when space comes up.

Join the dealer waiting list
We need to know what you sell before anything else — the show is balanced across minerals, fossils, jewelry, beads and lapidary supplies, so the mix matters as much as the space.
Please do not send payment with an enquiry. Space is confirmed by contract only, and a check does not reserve a booth.

The show runs on volunteers
Set-up Thursday, Kid's Area shifts Friday through Sunday, tear-down Sunday afternoon. Shifts are a few hours. Bring gloves and sturdy shoes for set-up and tear-down; everything else is provided.
